What is Indiramma Illu telangana?
The Indiramma Illu Scheme is a flagship housing initiative of the Telangana Government aimed at helping homeless families and economically weaker sections build permanent homes. Relaunched in 2024 under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the scheme is part of the state’s Six Guarantees program and reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring safe and dignified housing for every eligible family.
Under this Indiramma Housing scheme, the government plans to build 4.5 lakh houses with a total budget allocation of ₹22,000 crore. Eligible families will receive financial assistance of up to ₹5 lakh to construct a safe, secure, and permanent house.

The Indiramma Indlu Scheme offers comprehensive financial assistance to help economically weaker families build permanent houses. The scheme ensures full support with no repayment burden.
- 100% Subsidy: The government provides full financial assistance, and beneficiaries are not required to repay any amount.
- For Landowners: Eligible families who already own a plot will receive ₹5 lakh to construct a permanent (pucca) house.
- For Landless Families: The government provides a free housing site along with ₹5 lakh for construction.
- Special Category Benefit: Telangana movement activists are eligible to receive a 250 square yard plot under the scheme.
- Standard House Specifications: Each house must have a minimum area of 400 sq. ft. and include essential facilities such as an RCC roof, kitchen, and toilet.
